F-Stop Productions asked us to help promote their release of “A One Night Stand in the Heartland”, a coffee table book documenting the Beatles 1965 US tour stop in Minneapolis/St. Paul. This project included designing online promotions, invitations, event video and promotional bookmarks.
Our inspiration for our designs came by taking images and story flow from the book. We divided the promotional concept into four aspects: anticipation, excitement, departure, and return. We took the client’s orange and white color theme of their logo and used it throughout the designs. Using all these concepts, we developed, designed and promoted an event all for a very successful one night in the heartland.

The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is a not-for-profit community art center. When we were approached to broaden their audience base and bring a greater awareness to their events and classes we knew we could deliver offer them an effective design.
We created a more artistic brochure while keeping a refined look. Their slogan “enjoy” the art center prevailed as the 2008-2009 brochure concept. A combination of big, engaging photos with rich colors and patterns gave the brochure a more personal feel to appeal to a wider crowd. Then in 2009 we were asked to create the next seasonal brochure.
Testimonial:
“I wanted to send you a note to say how much I love the Seasonal brochure. You did an amazing job. All of the confusing, conflicting messages we gave you and the end product is better than we could have imagined! Thank you for all of your hard work. “
Kornylak Corporaion is a global manufacturer of material handling products. The company wanted us to help solve several different issues. Their company has a very successful product line, and a strong customer base but wanted to have a more aggressive and innovative position in their market. After looking at their current marketing and that of their competition, we decided the most effective way to do this was to rebrand the company.
As this is not a small task, we broke it down into phases. We started by innovating their look from their product line and work outward from there. Once all the products have been properly branded, we’ll redesign their product brochures, then redesign their website and storefront.
When a budding photographer asked us to design an identity, business card and website on a small budget, we were happy to oblige. Her goal was for us to convey her unique style that set her apart from other photographers. With this in mind we set out to first design a logo.
The logo conveyed her warm and friendly personality by using a pink pallet in combination with a lighthearted camera design. After we felt we captured that concept, we moved it to the website giving it a warm feel by using antique patterns and a craft paper look.

We were asked to design a logo and video for the Michael Johnson & Friends Tribute Concert. This event was to increase awareness to uninsured musicians, and bring all of Michael Johnson’s friends together for a night of support and great music.
Because Michael Johnson is such a classic musician, we wanted to bring that same style to the concert logo design and slideshow/tribute video. We brought a snapshot nostalgic feel to the video and kept the guitar prevalent throughout the design.
Testimonial:
“Thanks for the love and creative genius you put into what you did. It added so much. My deepest gratitude. Michael loved your graphic and kept the program to treasure.”
